Entrepreneur Jason Claiborne is an accomplished creative director, producer and award winning graphic designer with over 20 years experience developing culturally relevant content. Claiborne’s work spans across a wide range of brands, products, and services within various industries including entertainment, publishing and digital media. His diverse client portfolio ranges from the iconic Universal Music Group to the legendary Vibe Magazine, with many in between. His influence within these strategic partnerships has created a lasting impact on pop culture. 

Claiborne began his career as an Art Director, designing album packaging for GRP Records, the Verve Music Group and Jive Records. He moved on to become Art Director at Vibe and Uptown Magazine where he developed, designed and maintained the publications’ visual language and oversaw content creation. Throughout his tenure Claiborne produced Vibe’s stunning visual content as well as the cover shoots, featuring artists such as Drake, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, 50 Cent and Lil Wayne.

His private ventures include being Co-Founder and former Vice President at Integrated Beverage Group. As Chief Creative Officer, he artfully crafted the brand’s identity and designed all packaging for the company’s frozen beverage product line. Claiborne has also successfully navigated the independent publishing world with the founding of Augustus Publishing. Augustus has released over twenty fiction novels, four of them reaching the national best sellers list. The company has independently sold over five-hundred thousand books.
